Was it destiny or was
it density?
(An Engineer’s Ode to
Love that He cannot have)
How can I forget you?
I traced your folds
with my two hands,
I cared for them and
I did caress them when you needed it.
I looked at you, I
stared at you
I wondered..how can
anyone be so beautiful, so amazing?
You came with me to
the terrace of our small little home.
I was the one who
asked for it, and you agreed.
We both knew you had
to leave me.
That was your
destiny.
Oh, but what a flight
you had.
Crossing the other six
terraces you made your way..
Across the park,
across the water tank.
I never saw you
falling to the ground..maybe I never wanted to see that.
Oh my paper airplane,
I still remember every moment of it.
And let me tell you,
she was the best I have ever made yet.
